List view default false field disappears on new search

I have set a field in Listview to “default = false” to not have it by default in listview. When I move the field in column selector to show it works and column is displayed.
When I do a new search the column disappears to hidden section and not showed anymore in listview.

Is this intended behaviour?

I found out that I have to do a repair after pulling the column for display and then it stays with my settings. So for me this is closed
