Learning Resources? Auto-populate Account in new related item

Hi All,

I’m brand new to suiteCRM (and SugarCRM) and rather than take away valuable time by asking newbie questions, is there some online resources to learn the basics? For example, I want to add assets to accounts. I managed to fumble my way through creating an assets module with asset_details, and can actually create them (dropdown type, text for asset tag), but it seems that it does not automatically assign the account to the asset. So when I look up assets, I see the type and tag, but blank for account.

I’d appreciate specific help with this, but for the future, would like to have some pointers to reading resources (videos less preferred).

You probably just missed creating a relationship between the Accounts module and your new module.

Make sure you stay on the 6.5 version and everything should be quite similar to SuiteCRM.
