I been trying for a while to figure out the intent of both these fields while working in the system.
I have mainly used the lead description (in the “Overview” tab) because it has way larger window and better overview so you can easily see what you have typed and using it as a log for contacting the prospect and if spoken to them over the phone I write down all data they tell me during the conversation.
But I have yet to figure out the purpose/how/why to use the Status Description field in the “More Information” tab (which is very small in size by the way), so would be very happy if someone could explain this and also maybe share how you guys use that “Status Description” field.
