I have moved to a new server and kept host name, database details and IP the same, The migration has has gone well, I followed the following procedure.
- Backup up files
- Backup database
- Copy files to new server
- Modify file permissions and ownership
- restore database
At this point all seems ok, But i needed to add a new field, All the layouts in the studio are back to factory defaults, All the customer layouts have disappeared from studio (all the active layouts are correct) . If i try a repair, then the studio layouts replace the active layouts,
Am i missing something?
