KReporter installation problem

Hi!

I’m trying to set up KReporter on SuiteCRM (version 7.1.4). Installation of the plugin works fine and the plugin user interface as well. The problem occurs when I try to save the first report and I get a white error page with the message “Table ‘suitecrm.kreporter’ doesn’t exist in sugarcrm.log.

I have had a look at the database and there is indeed no kreporter table (though a couple of other tables for the plugin, kreporterschedules, -favourites-snapshots-status). Tried reinstalling the plugins (base first, core after, tried both KReporter 3.0.6 and 3.0.5) with no success. Tried looking in apache error.log and sugarcrm.log for more clues but couldn’t find any major issues.

Christian, the maintainer of KReporter, suggested that the issue probably lies within SugarCRM.

Do any you guys in here have a clue? Let me know if you want to post logs or other information.

Best regards,
Simon

Hi Simon,

By any chance have you tired a repair and rebuild on the instance since kreporter has been installed ?

Yes, tried several times when I noticed that it wasn’t working.

Hi Simon,

When you run the Quick Repair & Rebuild, are there changes to be executed? These can be found at the foot of the page.

Thanks,

Will.

Hi Will,

There was indeed some SQL code to create the kreporter table at the bottom of the Quick Repair & Rebuild page! I executed it and now everything seems to be working perfectly.

Many thanks for the quick replies!

Simon
