KReport based on Contact Owner (Assigned to User) is not working

I am trying to pull a report based on the Assigned To User field (which we have renamed Contact Owner) and it’s populating with 61 records none of which are assigned to any user. Even when I try another user. Same 61 contacts pulled in the report. :huh: Seems to be a glitch. Or am I pulling in the wrong fields? Can you please help?

You are not using the right field/
You should have:
Fieldname : Contacts::Assigned User
Name: Login instead of Assigned user

Using Name = Assigned User as you did, what you get is the Assigned to Id of that user (most often the admin who created the user)

I’ve tried that (and many other variations) as well and it’s still not pulling the data correctly.

Apologies… I hadn’t tried Name = Login… however I did go in and try to do as you suggested…

However I don’t have an option to select “Login” . It doesn’t appear anywhere in the list after I’ve selected “Contacts::Assigned User” as the module/field name. Hmm… :frowning:

Thats Assigned To User (not Assigned User) and Field = User Name
With that you even have the possibility to have equals “active user” in your select options so that you can have the same report displaying user-specific data.
