Issue with AOP - Error: This account does not have portal access

Hi,

I have Joomla 3.3.0 installed with SuiteCRM 7.1.1 and configured the accounts for AOP in both Joomla and SuiteCRM. I am getting the following Error: This account does not have portal access, with no idea of what to do to remedy the issue.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance with this issue at your earliest convenience.

How have you created the portal user? Have you created them via the CRM?

Hi Angelo,

You can find that feature within the action menu/buttons at the top of a contact record. If it is not visible, your AOP will be configured incorrectly.

Using this guide:
I created a contact for the Portal User and clicked on “:Create Portal User”. Now I am facing the following error: Failed to save user Please enter a user name.

Where do I submit that username. Both Joomla and SugarCRM have been respectively configure based on the manual above.

Issue resolved. Need to specify the email address in the contact so that Create Portal User function can use it to create the Joomla account.
