Is there a limit on number of API requests?


We are building a Portal using the REST API and all the CRM users and Contacts will be using the Portal to access the CRM data. There will be around 8000 - 10000 portal users. And we are expecting at least 5000 users to be using the portal at the same time(In other words 5000 users making the API requests at the same time).

I’m concerned if there are any technical limitations with the REST API. Can SuiteCRM handle this load?
Do you have any suggestions for a such system?


for my experiment, suitecrm or (surgarcrm) can handle many REST request, but it’s much “server/apache/mysql” dependant !
