Is SuiteCRM a good fit for my needs?

I plan to hire a marketing team to generate leads, which will then be passed on to the sales team for conversion. I want to track the entire process through a CRM, with the ability to define specific roles and permissions for each user. Lastly, need comprehensive reporting to understand the workflow.

Could SuiteCRM be a good option for my needs? Thanks!

On the level of your description: Sure, SuiteCRM (or almost any) would be a good fit.

A system evaluation goes much deeper into the processes and requirements.
During this process, it would be possible to rule out some CRMs.

Look into the specifics, your marketing campaigns, the differences of the systems you’re evaluating and your priorities.

You can have Lead Forms generated within the CRM and track conversions. Any lead submission would land into CRM and then you can work on those leads to convert them.

CRM does support roles and permissions. Anything specific can be customised e.g. Field Level access.

Ah, that’s great to know! However, my plan is a bit different, I’m focusing on getting most of the leads from Sales Nav and Apollo, importing them into the CRM, and also using MailWizz for email marketing

I’ve done projects with probably 10 different CRM and all kinds of adjacent software systems. CRM wise, most of my projects are either with Zoho or SuiteCRM.
