Is it possible to grant access to users of group inboxes currently or is this broken please?


I have seen at least one temporary way around the issue some 6 months ago from one of the Developers that access to a shared inbox could be granted from the user administration section but this option seems to have since disappeared.

What I am looking to achieve is the ability of a user to be able to view multiple shared inboxes (whatever I grant them access to) and for them to respond from the mailbox address instead of their personally allocated Email address. The fix from 6 months ago seemed to rest on the user having “send email as themselves” ticked which defeats the purpose.

Please could someone explain how to do this.
