Importing VCF lead

Hello,

I need to transfer a lead to a different installation of SuiteCRM.

I thought of the idea of exporting it as VCF, and them importing it.

Can you import VCF files into SuiteCRM?

Hi there,

By VCF are you meaning vCard files? In SuiteCRM/SugarCRM exporting is done by CSV.

Basically, I want to move a lead from one system to another.

On the page of the lead I see an option to export a VCF file.

So, I dd that thinking that there was a way to import it on another system.

If that is not possible, what is the best way to export a single lead, and import it into another system?

Hi Joe,

You can export the lead to CSV(as standard) and then go to your new CRM. navigate to the leads module and click ‘Import Leads’(it is an option under the leads menu item when you hover over). You can then import the lead which you exported to the CSV.
