Importing Leads

I have tried numerous times to import my leads with no luck. I get the following errors no matter what I try.

Error Value not in dropDown list. Allowed values are: ,Cold Call,Existing Customer,Self Generated,Employee,Partner,Public Relations,Direct Mail,Conference,Trade Show,Web Site,Word of mouth,Email,Campaign,Other
Field Name Lead Source: (lead_source)
Value Seamless AI

What can i do to fix this?

The value you put in lead_source field must match a list.

So you can make them match in two ways:

  • either remove the value “Seamless AI” (and all others absent from the list) from all records you are about to import

  • or go and add all values you have in the list: this is done in Admin / Dropdown editor (look for the list for lead_source).
