imap group inbox

Hi again,

I now installed suitCRM on my hosted domain (strato.de, no root server).
suiteCRM works great out of the box.

I am now having trouble setting up a group email inbox.

The mail server ist the imap.strato.de server with SSL and there are mails in the inbox. I checked with another mail client.

When I configure the mail account in suiteCRM the test reports that everything works fine.
But when I go to the suiteCRM mail client and check for new mails, no mails are shown in the inbox.

I allready read in the sugar forums that there was a problem with IMAP and SSL.
But I set the Log Level in suiteCRM to Debug and there was no error regarding IMAP or SSL at all.

I think that IMAP with SSL is working because I can select the Trash-Box and in order to do that suiteCRM connects to the imap server to retreive the folder list.

What else could be the problem?

Thanks
Dominik

Hi Dominik,

Are your schedulers running to poll the inbound mailboxes?

Thanks,

Will.

Hi Will,

the scheduler was inactive. I now activated it.
below the list of schedulers there is the info: “To Setup Crontab…”
Will I be able to use that on my hosted webspace? As I said it is not a root server.

Shouldn’t the manual “check mail” work anyways?

Thanks for your support
Dominik

Sorry for pushing this one again, but I am currently evaluating SuiteCRM and I realy need the group inbox feature.

Anyone can answer this:

Does the manual “check for mail” work if the scheduler is not activated?

Thanks!
Dominik

have a look here group inbox mail

Thank you for your time and support !!

Thanks adr!

I will give it a try.

I solved this issue. But I am not sure if there is a bug in cron.php.

After changing cron.php the schedulers run and I get my emails in the group folder.

I opened another thread to discuss this. https://suitecrm.com/forum/suitecrm-7-0-discussion/2938-manually-running-cron-php-error-class-userpreference-not-found

Thanks
Dominik
