Images not Displaying in pdf forms or Emails

I am new to Suite CRM and I am creating a new pdf template for Contracts. I am trying to add the company logo by using the Tiny MCE editor provided. I enter the path and filename of the logo and it appears in the editor correctly. When I save the template and go back to the contract itself and select the action “Print as PDF”, the pdf is created, but I just get the small “x” in a box in place of the logo (not finding the right file). Does anyone know what I might be doing incorrectly?

By the way, the same results are achieved when I select “Email Pdf”

You could be having permissions problems, the image needs to be written to disk (in the upload directory), depending on your permissions settings SuiteCRM might be having trouble reading the image back when it needs to.

The permissions for new files depend on the permissions set on the parent folder, and on the SetGID bit of the parent folder.
