http 500 while upgrading

I am having troubles while upgrading my existing sugarCRM to suiteCRM. After starting upload in ADMIN interface, i am getting a http 500 (internal server).
As i am not able to look into server.logs: any idey what to do?

This sounds like a permissions issue that the CRM cannot execute/access files as required when trying to upgrade.

I would contact your server host if you do not have access to log files or to run permissions.
