How to view Suitecrm version?

Hi, how can I check my current suitecrm version? When I go to About I only see this

SuiteCRM
Version

Sugar Version 6.5.24 (Build 509)

The free and open source alternative to SugarCRM Professional Edition.

in the header on the top right user icon there is a menù click on “ABOUT”. In this page there is the version of your suitecrm installation.

@Roberto, he says he already checked “About”. I wonder if there could be some bug there to cause his version not to show.

@gcharsley There should be a file in the root of your SuiteCRM installation called suite_version.php, check if that exists and seems to make sense.

There is also a table in the database called upgrade_history or update_history.

Hi @roberto and @pgr and thanks for your help. This is an interesting problem, although I’ve gone past what I needed it for.

You are correct @pgr I can see the following (copied and pasted from actual page). SuiteCRM should be the logo (it copies like this - pretty cool).

The suitecrm_version.php did in fact exist, this is how I found out I was running 7.9.4 and could do the upgrade to 7.9.5 (which fixed my pages not showing up). The version upgrade did NOT fix the version problem though. The suitecrm_version.php is perfectly readable and makes sense.

I also don’t understand how I went from SuiteCRM looking like I’m used to, to a totally different look. Is there an auto-update I selected when I installed? (cannot remember). And if there is, why didn’t it update to 7.9.5??

Thanks for your help again, it’s much appreciated. (My Add File here is not working, or I would attach the JPG)
