How to upgrade suitecrm 7.8.23 to another version

i try to upgrade de version and i download many packages for that. and it does not work

  1. What’s your:
    a. PHP version?
    b. Database name and version?
    c. OS name and version?

  2. What error messages (if any) do you get when you do this upgrade procedure?

Doh! That explains it. You were trying to upgrade but you were providing the full application installer package. Error.

  1. First, take a full backup your Suite files and database, if any issue.
  2. Get the upgrade package to upgrade from 7.8.x to 7.8.31. All older upgrade packages are available from this page. Download this one, then go to Upgrade Wizard, upgrade your Suite from 7.8.23 to 7.8.31.
  3. Next, get this file and use it to upgrade your 7.8.31 to 7.10.
  4. Then, upgrade your 7.10 to 7.12.
  5. Last, upgrade your 7.12 to 7.14 (current supported version).
