How to tag/group/add category to a potential client

Hi,
I’m new to suitecrm. Using 8. So, having a big excel sheet with my potential clients. I will ad them one by one to suitecrm. But, how can categorize them? Let’s say, I need to add a tag or color or something on different categories: clients need to be in a group1, client need to be in group2 etc

I’ll recommend you to add a custom field. Dropdown or a text field to organize them.
