I find that deleting emails from the web interface causes the system to hang for up to a minute. Importing emails without deleting them is much, much quicker.
Is there a way to speed this process up? The lag seriously dents productivity.
Unless someone has a mail plugin for Mac Mail or Outlook for Mac?
Having played around with this issue for some time now, the time it takes to delete an email is directly related to the amount of mail in the inbox. Accounts with 50 mails or less seem to delete messages relatively quickly. An inbox with 100+ mails on the other hand takes well over a minute.
Is there some kind of inefficient re-indexing routine being run every time a message is deleted?
