How to relate contacts directly to opportunities?

Hi,

I am building a CRM for business that deals with both companies & individuals (persons).

I know by default contacts are in-directly related to opportunities through accounts. Is there a way that contacts can be directly linked to opportunities without having to create accounts? or how do I have to approach this situation?

Hello,
would it work for you this way?
You create a Contact first and then in its Overview you can create an Opportunity, so it will link directly to the Contact.

Hmmm… not sure whether it’s possible, but maybe I’m not aware of such funtion…

I’m new to SuiteCRM and would also like to know how to show the related contact for an opportunity in the Dashlet and the Opportunity module.

That link to make the account field not required when converting a lead to a contact doesn’t seem to work anymore.

I’m using SuiteCRM for a small business where my sales come from direct business with individuals.
