How to modify list view entire row?

Hi,

There are at least two ways to customize fields on list view. Change background color for example. For that you can follow any of these links and use the method that suits your needs the most:

Now my issue is that I need to modify the entire row not just individual fields. I need to find the way to get the

parent from that and remove it when some criteria is present.

Suggestions are welcome.
