I am running for mayor in a small town. I want to try my hand at SuiteCRM as a first time user. But I need an education here on PHP files and on a web server. I downloaded SUITCRM to my laptop tonight. It is sitting in an empty folder on my laptop. I have never before handled a PHP program before. First Installation Instruction: “Locate the directory on the web server in which the SuiteCRM directory will be located(most commonly the root directory, or within a subdirectory).” That’s were I am stuck. “the web server”. Does that mean I can install SuiteCRM to my "root directory, C:\SuiteCRM\ on my laptop?
