How to give an automatic discount based on part number

Hi,

When creating a Quote, I want to give a 100% to a line item based on the part number.

For example, if the part_number = x, the discount = 100%, for that line item.

I understand that I need to modify line_items.js. Can somebody give me some indication which part of line_items.js I need to modify to achieve the above.
