How to Escalate Issues (or mark as solved)

There are a number of posts on the forums that get some action from other members but do not have a posted solution.

There are bug reports on the forum but they are not openly acknowledged as bugs nor marked with any indication of when and if they will be fixed.

It would be great if problem posts could be marked as answered in a similar way to stackoverflow and bug reports closed with a reference number in an actual bug tracker. That way, people who can help can search for “unanswered”.

It would also be great if we could tag a forum thread for escalation to the development team when the community has exhausted it’s knowledge.

We are very restricted on time which can be spent on SuiteCRM. We are looking for a Bug Tracker which runs smoothly and also integrates with Joomla. We have tried several Joomla extensions which have just not met the mark in terms of usability and development functionality.

If you/the community have any suggestions, or can aid in assisting us to select an effective bug tracker for SuiteCRM, it would be much appreciated.
