Hope I'm in the right place - The tick box which allows emails to be sent is missing

Hello Group,
Newbie to the group, but pretty good with SuiteCRM. Did a fresh install for a website and when I tried to set up email, the tick box that allows users to send email is not there. Is there a way to fix this?
I am comfortable enough with PHP and MySQL to go in and fix it.

Thank you,
Guy

There are several places to configure email accounts in SuiteCRM, which one is that, exactly?

That particular screenshot was the Admin set up, I also checked in the individual set up as well. Those are the only two places I know of…

Guy

BTW- I am using Version 7.11.8

Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

There’s…

  • Admin menu / Outbound email - this is where you’ll find that checkbox

  • Admin user profile / Email Settings

  • Other user’s profile / Email Settings

Nope. It is not on any of those pages. Can I go into the database and fix it?

Sorry, my mistake…

Admin menu / Email settings / Users may send as this account’s identity

This is only required for system-level account to be used by individual users. For the accounts defined in the user’s profile, it shouldn’t be necessary, they should always appear in that user’s “compose” dialog, in the “from” account dropdown.

LOL, I could swear that I looked there. All fixed now. Thank you.
