Out of the box, it associates, opportunities and contacts with accounts, but I cannot get the same association to take place when putting many to many in relate for contacts to opportunities.
This is critical for my CRM. I need to be able to associate contacts to opportunities.
My application use is for recruiting:
I have people (contacts) applying for multiple jobs (opportunities). Each client (account) can have many jobs (opportunities).
I need to be able to go into each job (opportunity) and see all of my applicants (contacts).
You are correct the relationship is in there but when you add it to display it does not automatically associate or perhaps I am doing something wrong.
When I associated an opportunity with an account, it shows up in the subpanel of the account and you can see the opportunities listed there. This however, does not occur when I associate a contact with an opportunity. I can go back to the candidate to see the association but if I go to opportunities, I cannot see the candidates in the subpanel for opportunities.
I have included pictures. Any guidance as to why this is not showing up in the subpanels is greatly appreciated.
In the attached pictures, you will see pending job (a job is my case was referenced to an opportunity). Thank you
I can associate and view my contacts associated with opportunities when I use the subpanels. My goal was to create a way to associate a the top (pending job). I am not sure how to do that. See attached image. (the association with account - something that is default works just fine) Creating an association at the top does not seem to work. If anyone knows how to do this, please advise. Thank you.
The work around I just found is:
When I go into the contact subpanel and select an opportunity. I can then go into the opportunity and view contacts in the subpanel.
On a different note, is there a way to download the associations? For example: a list as pictured of contacts associated with an opportunity.
