Hangs after the third screen.

Hi,

We have tried installing the latest 7.1.4. We are not able to go beyond the third screen that is the License screen. The “Next” button on the License screen does not work even after we tick the ACCEPT checkbox and scroll down the entire license text. But the “Back” button works perfectly. We have enabled all permission as suggested by you in your second screen We are not able to proceed to the pre-installation check page. Pls advise.

Sounds like permissions issues. What is your server version/environment, database type, etc.?

We used http://installatron.com/ and it installed correctly without any error.

Will,

since there are are so many issues regarding permissions why don’t you include a script that, when launching the install script, before anything is done, instead of just checking the requirements also set permissions to 775 and 755 accordingly?

This small script would probably save lots of headaches as well as requests in the forum.
