Global Search only returns Contacts, I want Contacts and Accounts

In Admin I have Global Search Enavled Modules
Accounts
Calls
Contacts
Documents
Notes

When I use Global Search, it only returns listings from contacts.
If I click on “Use Basic Search” on the resulting screen it shows me the Accounts and Contacts

Also… The Global Search Bar is covered by the Notifications box on any screen width. A little annoying.

try adding a % sign at the end of your search, you will find your contact
