Freepbx tie in with SuiteCRM - Same system?

It appears we cannot install suitecrm on a freepbx system since freepbx runs php 5.6. Is there a guide on how to set this up with freepbx? Are we talking about 2 separate servers? We are trying to integrate into our cloud insurance software via api to populate customer information based on an incoming call and use all or any reporting features of suitecrm as well. The pop up is our main concern that we need

I haven’t seen anything specifically for your case. I have seen some connectors between SuiteCRM and FreePBX in the store but that’s all.
