When I place a product into a subcategory, I don’t see it when I filter by a parent category. I would like to filter products based on a parent product category, and return all the products in subcategories. I don’t understand why this isn’t the default behaviour of filters. Thanks for your help.
Just to clarify, I want to filter products from the list view by a parent category. I understand that the parent/subcategory relationship resides in the ProductCategory module. So what I am asking is how to filter the Products module using a relationship from the ProductCategory module. I would appreciate any advice to get me started in the right direction. Do I need to create a custom module? Thanks.
