Filter Account Records Based on Custom Field in Opportunity

I have created a custom field in Opportunities called partner_name_c, which relates to the Account module. Whenever I edit this field, I see all Account records. However, I only want to see Accounts where the account_type_c field is set to ‘Direct.’ How can I achieve this?

this is for subpanels,
I want it for the the windows which appears when we try to select a record for a relate field
