Fetch a data from users master & update into another field

Hi

I have created a custom case module for internal use & there i have created a custom field From department.
We have option to feed user department detail when creating user.
I want that when a user creates a ticket , the department field in custom module gets updated automatically, which is the department of user in the user master.

You may be able to do this utilising the Advanced OpenWorkflow module within SuiteCRM. Please see the SuiteCRM Documentation for more information and user guides showing you how to use the module.
