palize… help…

Where is the log in ā€œdebug modeā€

Hi PauloAns,

As regards your email settings, click on the Gmail button and this should give you the defaults you need. All you should need to do is fill in your username/password.

As regards your password/user issue, go into password management and turn off auto create password and manually create the passwords with one uppercase, lowercase and numerical character.

Thanks,

Will.

Hy there
Thank you for the fast answer.
in fact, after creating the user password manually, I’ve managed to login with a different user.
And after re-enabling the System-Generated Passwords Feature, I’ve managed to send e-mails automatically.
:woohoo: :woohoo:
One thing that I made different… I was trying to test the ā€œsend emailā€ from within my VM’s CentOS Instance.
I’ve managed to send a test mail, from my physical machine, calling suitecrm web site (running on VM)

Now, a small step to you guys, but a big one to me

I want to create a hardware catalog/table, so I can populate it with our hardware infrastructure’s information…
and afterwards, register helpdesk/support calls and interventions requests…

at this time I’m like trowing play-doh on the wall :silly:
Is there a goos place to start in the documentation?
Can’t seem to find suitecrm videos, or text, on ā€œhow toā€ do modules etc.
(if this is to far feched from the original thread, I’ll ask it again on the proper (?) place , feel free to edit this message, and cut the part that doesn’t concern to the thread’s original question… again, thank you)
