We’re getting the following errors with module tables after upgrading by using the upgrade wizard. The upgrade was from a fresh copy of 7.7.9 with no modifications:
A DB repair was done, and several mismatched vardefs were found and corrected, however, this has not solved the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check you system and suitecrm logs as well as browser console errors and post back with OS version, php version and db version as well.
Have you set permissions correctly?
I would agree with amariussi to check your permissions. From the look of the screenshot it looks like a JS issue and that you may need to refresh your browser cache. After the 7.8.x upgrades users will need to do a hard refresh of their browser due to the changes.
