Encoding of Portuguese characters is broken when importing records from CSV

Hello.
I have a problem with the import of Portuguese characters like this “AdolesCiência”, SuiteCRM writes “AdolesCiência”.

SuiteCRM Version used: 7.10.4.

What encoding I need chose?

This depends on several factor and settings, but let me start by the one that I think is most likely causing it (and easier to solve):

On the Import wizard, in step 2, there is a button saying “View Import File Properties”. When you click it, it opens a panel with further (advanced) options. Try different settings for the “File encoding” here.

It might also help to save in UTF-8 encoding when you are producing the file (in Excel, or in a text editor that allows encoding settings like Notepad++).
