email template

Hi,

In email template, does anyone know how can I:

• add the appointment calendar in the email? like the attached screenshot?
• add the time of the meeting? it is not included in the choices of email template: 02:00pm BST(+01:00)

Lastly, I noticed that the $display_url for the meeting seems not to be working? I should also be able to include the link to the meeting that has been created but unfortunately it does not display anything in the email.

I am using a workflow so that when the lead is converted it will send an email (related to this post> https://suitecrm.com/forum/suitecrm-7-0-discussion/6599-send-an-email-when-a-lead-is-converted-to-contact)

Please share some ideas…

for your first point. Do you mean to take a screen shot of a specific time frame? i.e, a month or a day?

for your second point…the Start Date Variable will cater for the date AND time of a meeting. for example, go to a meeting and you can see that the ‘start date’ field shows the date and the time also

Not too sure about the bug though! perhaps post an issue on github if you have an account!

Hi All,

Can anyone please help me about this issues?

I am using workflow to send an email when the lead is converted.

In the email template that will be sent, how will it display the meeting appointment calendar (ics file to be attached).

I also noticed that in the email template only the date is included. The time and timezone of the meeting start date and end date is not displaying. How can I include the time and timezone?

Even when I select the $display_url in the email template, the url of the meeting does not display when sent even I selected it in the email template. -> is this a bug?

Hopefully someone else in the forum can give me an idea about the above issues.

Just noticed that instead of $display_url it should be $meeting_displayed_url.

The $meeting_displayed_url doesn’t work. Any idea please about this or the above issue?

Need your advice guys :frowning:
