Hi,
in the email template there should be user as reference field in the dropdown list of the “Relate to” field.
This will allow to manage custom mail toward users, for which prebuild SUITEcrm has already templates (for example System-generated password email or Forgot Password email)
I’ve raised this initially as a bug,https://github.com/salesagility/SuiteCRM/issues/8321 but is more a feature, since dropdown contains contacts but not users
