Email Setting error on Fresh Install

I think what is happening here is that you are trying to send through gmail, but are attempting to relay as the From address is admin@, whilst your username email is ronoliver…
Gmail will disallow this.
Try it again with the from address set the same as your email.

You could also try checking the Allow users to use this account for outgoing email. Although I don’t think that is relevant to the problem you’re experiencing.

As you can see, I am trying mandrill ( and also sendgrip) but it’s not working.

Sorry I didn’t notice the mandrill domain.

I think the problem is likely to be the same, the From address your attempting to say the mail is from is not the user account your using to authenitcate.

Try setting the from address to the same as the user account, let me know how you get own

Also the SuiteCRM logs are your friend too, put the log into “Error” mode, try to send and then take a look in the logs

You’ll find the logs in the cpanel -> System Settings - Logger Settings panel
