Email not working new install on Centos7

Hello All,

I have fresh install of SuiteCRM-7.9.7. All checks OK, other then testing outgoing email I get a message Error:SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting. This is in development for a proof of concept, but without email working, then no proof of concept.I am aware from my searches that Certificate is a issue, and self-signed certs appear not to work. I did modify a line in class.phpmailer.php (public $SMTPAutoTLS = false) it was set to true. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
