Hello Everyones,

Can you be so kind and provide some information or send some link where i can read about email principals in SuiteCRM? I need to know how i can use email box to manage leads, opportunities, etc.

is there any guadline for this topic?

In documentation i noticed that there will be huge work done on email in new upcoming release. id there any source to read about this more details.

i going to choose crm for small company but all processes based on emails so this is very important what suitecrm can offer for this…

Overall, emails are currently being revamped.
Sending emails already looks more modern.
Receiving emails yet has to catch up.

Depending on your processes and requirements, you might want to list those out carefully and do a CRM evaluation. You might hit some walls soon.

That being said, in almost every project email is a topic and I’ve done a lot of integrations and different solutions on how to work with emails and SuiteCRM.

Do you have any specific / out of the ordinary requirement that you could mention?

thanks for your clarification.

Well, currently my work based on outlook and emails. I noticed that some information are missing and need some automation and of course searching all past information which are ling to project or account is a nightmare. So i was thinking to switch to crm where email account is the main center of work. Generally wanted to switch from outlook to crm email box. I would like to have below options:

  • receiving emails

  • sending emails

  • linking email to opportunity directly form emil box

  • stick email to project directly from email box

  • emails link to account, contact, leads, etc.

these are basis which i think would improve my life…

You basically can get this working out of the box and don’t need top use Outlook at all.

The UI for viewing incoming emails is not on an Outlook level at the moment.
Sending emails is quite fancy already with the most recent 8.10.1 version.
Linking to your existing other records works just fine.
If the relationship doesn’t exist, you can simply create one via the studio.

One hint / suggestion: There is a flex relate - use this with the human first.
And then, if you want to see your mails from multiple contacts within one account as well in the account, you can then additionally link the email to the account (and projects, and opportunities etc.).

Do you have a testing environment available?
Ideally, you’d test this.
Everything you wrote is fairly simple out of the box. But the UI needs some getting used to.
