Filing emails is crucial to most CRM implementations, as is capturing the attachments associated with each - the problem is that this greatly increases the amount of storage used by SuiteCRM. Clearly it would be beneficial to have a system that allows for management of the files captured: I propose two possible solutions:
- A GUI interface that allows you to browse and delete stored files - particularly the irrelevant footer images that are commonly attached to emails.
- An option on the email filing mechanism that detects and lists individual attachments, before offering you the option to deselect attachments that hold no value (footer images again).
I suspect that the same functionality would be of use to people using the Outlook plugin too.
