Email accout connection with Outlook

Hi, I hhave set up email account for the rest of my team in the Admin/User Management/User selected/Action-Edit/Email Settings/Settings/Mail Accounts/Add/Mail Account Properties.

I complete all the details as I have done for other users and changed the Username and Password as required for different users, but when I select the Monitored Folder for the Inbox, I get a Login or Password Incorrect popup. I have check the login details and I have asked the user to verify by logging out of there outlook account and logging back in with their details. I have added users and their accounts link up. Is there some way to check where the issue is, or do I need to reset users email passwords in outlook.

are you using office 365? if so you need to allow app authentication (authenticated SMT) on the office 365 portal for the user.
