editview layout does not change using module builder on suitecrm 7.7

I recently updated my suitecrm to the latest 7.7
Changing editview layout on module builder worked the first time. Later changes are not reflected.

However, after a quick repair and rebuild the layout becomes ok.

Every change of it on module builder requires a quick repair and rebuild.

This didn’t happen on the previous versions.

I was able to replicate this on a local 7.7 copy by editing the Editview / Detailview for Accounts in studio

It appears this may be a bug in 7.7

Hi,

Additionally, I believe that 7.7.1 was released yesterday around 1pm BST.

I have upgraded to this version locally, and no longer experience this issue.

If you upgrade to this version of SuiteCRM, do you experience this issue?

I opened the case in github.

The problem still happens after upgrade to 7.7.1

I cannot edit and change field from the edit layout view either. I did the upgrade as well to 7.7.1. Is there a way to customize in the meantime? any idea when this might be fixed? thank you

I’m able to change it. I can add/edit custom fields either in studio and module builder.
The only thing is that for them to show after that, I have to make a Quick Build & Repair (in the admin page -> repair)
