Edit Administration Module

Dear all,

I am currently evaluating SuiteCRM to be installed and use as our main CRM. The version installed is 7.7.9 in a Debian 6.8 server.

We would like to add the feature to SuiteCRM of Kerberos Authentication. I am actually developing and modifying the code to allow it passing the user name variable from the Apache Proxy X-REMOTE-USER and if it does not exist creating the user.

My question is:

Is there a way to modify the Administration module using any of the Developer Tools?
Can I create a module that could be loaded in the application that modifies the Administration module?
