Disable Cache

Hi Guys,

Any suggestion to disabling cache feature on SuiteCRM?
I tried to add some code from tuts in the config_override.php and also enable developer mode in system setting, still not working.

Hi Zee,

Please navigate to Admin -> System Settings and turn in Developer Mode ensuring you also run a Quick Reair & Rebuild to clear any previous cache.

I followed your steps, but i checked on the cache folder still auto generated the files. Is the cache setting already disabled or not?

Hi Zee,

When in developer mode, files will still be auto-generated but will be auto-generated each time the CRM is updated, instead of caching and using the auto-generated files until cache is cleared.

Hi,

is there any way of disabling cache for just one module?
I have been trying on 7.7.8 by deleting cache for Accounts on detailView and editView, but with no success.

Have you find a solution to your problem?

There is an option with manipulating view files in logic hooks, but we never get to test it in practice.

Turning on developer mode works to some extent but I don’t know if that’s the best solution…
