Database differences between 7.9.2 and 7.9.4

I can’t get the upgrade wizard to get past the system check without getting an “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE”. I asked for some help on this issue but got no replies.

I am in the process of moving our SuiteCRM to a new platform. If I install 7.9.4 on the new instance will I be able to migrate the data backup from the 7.9.2 instance?

Second question is where I can find the data structure information for the two versions so I can check it myself and next time don’t have to ask.

Yes you can use a backup or a database dump to restore SuiteCRM. There should not be any differences between the patch releases. You need to configure the new database details in the config.php file (at the root of your SuiteCRM instance). Look for dbconfig in the config.php file. If you are moving web servers you might wish to also change the site_url in the config.php files as well.

After restoring the database, go into admin->repair. Then run a quick repair and rebuild. This will correct any discrepancies in the database.
