Hey @chris001 I don’t think that customcode stuff works in version 8 (although I haven’t tried). So if the poster is on ver 7 that works great I use it all the time. On 8 I’m pretty sure that doesn’t work.
What is your CRM version?

I’m not sure, whether you need to do any customizations for that one.
There is a setting in your profile about which mail editor to use.
If I (by default) set SuiteCRM Email Client, then the code (in Contact) looks like this:
If I set it to ‘Extern Email Client’, the code looks like:
It has some implications, but maybe it matches all your requirements (and doesn’t break anything else)?
