I created several PDF fields in the studio for the PDF module. I’m trying to create some documents using them but they are not accessible to the PDF Template Module. How do I make them usable by the PDF Templates seciton? Also should duplicate merge be active?
I don’t think yo want to create fields for the PDF module. That is just to manage the list of PDF TEmplates on the system.
You probably want to create custom fields for whatever module you need them in (Accounts, contacts, etc) and then on the PDF Template you reference the fields from those module as usual.
But maybe I am not understanding this correctly.
You need to add your module you are trying to print pdf from to the pdf templates dropdown in the dropdown editor (pdf_template_type) and your custom fields will be available when that module is seleted as a data source.
