Currency symbol in email template for invoices

Hi,

I created an email template for invoices and I’d like to add the currency symbol. If I select “Invoices” in the Insert Variable dropdown list then it’s only possible to insert the Currency ID.

The email template is used from within a workflow based on invoices.

Do I have to write custom code to get the currency symbol to show up in my emails or am I missing an easier way to achieve this?

Please see attached screenshot. According to this post from more than 4 years ago it already should have been available in AOS 5.1.

That is, currency names and codes in email templates for invoices. Now I can only select the currency ID.
