cron job takes 100% CPU load

Hi,

i’ve an issue on my server. The suitecrm cron job takes always 100% CPU time.

There are 2 jobs viewable with the top command on my linux box called php -f cron.php
Both of them take 100% CPU load (if i kill one of them, the other takes all the CPU)

How can i find out, whats the problem domain herein?

Can someone point me into the right direction?

SuiteCRM Version: Sugar Version 6.5.18 (Build 1110)
Server: Linux server 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.60-1+deb7u3 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Thanks,
Gernot

[UPDATE]

I’ve found out, the job is “Perform Lucene Index” which consumes all the CPU and never seems to complete.

The last 3 Job Log Entries:

Perform Lucene Index running 2014-11-11 10:41 2014-11-11 10:41
Perform Lucene Index done 2014-11-10 10:41 2014-11-11 10:41
Perform Lucene Index done 2014-11-09 10:40 2014-11-10 10:41

… and Last Successful Run: 2014-10-07 00:00

How can i find out, whats wrong here?

Gernot

[UPDATE]
This seems to be a bug in AOD

https://www.suitecrm.co.uk/forum/bug-tracker/2372-perform-lucene-index-taking-long-to-run-and-using-alot-of-cpu?limitstart=0#9994

I don’t know what the “other thread” refers to…

Are there any news on that?

Gernot
